Integumentary emergence

The skin — the body's boundary — emerges from one bistable substrate and four measured master-gene γ values. No constant is fitted to a skin phenotype: each is a measured input or substrate-derived, and every claim is graded and reproducible to an identical hash.

This research preview puts the integumentary system under a wide stress sweep: the epidermal water barrier, wound healing as an unjamming transition, melanin as an ultraviolet feedback screen, epidermal turnover as a dwell-cascade, sweating as a regulated interface flux, and ultraviolet carcinogenesis.
